What do you think the implications of AI and robotics in our world are for safety?

Implications for safety is a scary thing to think about. From the video we watched at the beginning of class, AI can create music on its on by mimicking instruments that have been played by humans. They are able to create sentences, poetry and documents. There is a safety factor on the level that we might not be needed on this planet anymore as humans. There is also a saftey factor when you think about all that can go wrong from AI controlling itself. For example, if they ever do become so powerful that they can process on their on and move and create. If they ever get outside, weather could be a huge factor in electronics not working properly and breaking. We are mammals and weather is something our body can adapt to but electronics cannot adapt to water or heat. Instead they would need protection from the harmful aspects on an outside environment. We know to protect them but do they know?
