Bach Tran's Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Bach Tran. I am a senior student in Civil and Architectural Engineering with concentration in Digital Building.
Background relevant to Intelligent Building.
I have some experience with Revit during other courses at Drexel, I however have no knowledge about database. 
Expectations
I expect this class to give me the tools and knowledge to better understand how to use Revit, AI, robotics and database in the construction industry, and other applications that we might discover along the way.

I watched a videos about a multi functional and translucent facade elements that can be produced with a 3D printer, developed by researchers from Technical University of Munich. The element is called fluid morphology. This type of facade can integrates functions such as ventilation, insulation and shading, as the same time, it provides lots of freedom for architectural design.
From my understanding, Intelligent building is one that provide productive and cost effective environment.
