My name is Marino da Costa and I am a Civil and Architectural Engineering Student. My background relevant to intelligent building is in previous Architectural Engineering courses such as AE 390, 391, and AE 544 I learned about the components of the building such as building structure, Building foundation, Building enclosure, HVAC, and other building systems. Besides, learning about different systems of the building I also learned how to use Revit, Sketch-up, and SAP to design a 3D model of the building. In this course I am expecting to learn about how to use modern technology such as 3D printing to print the building using concrete and bricks.

Intelligent building is a building that has four elements such as structure, systems, service and management which they provide productive cost and no harm to the environment.
