Background/Expectations

My personal experience with an intelligent building is limited, as this is my first course on this topic. I want to gain a deeper knowledge of how exactly robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) are used to make construction/design more efficient on and off the job site.

Evernote Article

The passage I found most intriguing on evernote was about a constant battle between top tech companies trying to advance their AI systems for public use. Some of the companies listed were Apple, Amazon, and Google. The article suggests Google is leading the way with their CEO taking big strides in applying the use of AI in all our its core products. I found this very interesting as I just recently starting to trust and use AI devices like Amazon Alexa.

An intelligent building is a system that considers all aspects of a building to perform the most efficient and optimum way with all systems working together.
