Robotics & AI (Group B)

Robotics and AI are extremely relevant in the current state of engineering and will only become more relevant in the future. For example, AI can learn to model buildings if it goes through iterations on different projects and if it is given all the applicable coding. Computers may be able to be given a plot of land and if it is given all the specifics of the site, it can create a building in it's entirety without any direct input from the design engineer. Robotics can be used in 3D printing for prototyping and for different construction applications for testing. For example, the robot showed in the first day of class that could lay the brick can speed up construction times and save money during projects.
